How to check a toy's age grade and recalls

• Read the age grade, and think about who else lives there. The CPSC's toy safety business guidance explains that the ASTM F963 toy standard became mandatory under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, codified at 16 C.F.R. part 1250. A 5+ LEGO set meets the rules for a 5-year-old, not for a baby sibling.
